Hi
y'all....grab a glass of iced tea and sit a spell.
I'll tell you about myself.....what I want you
to know at least...and about my part of the USA.
| There's a place on God's earth called the Heart
of Dixie---Alabama. That's where I was born and raised. It's a
special place, with the Gulf of Mexico and it's sugar white
beaches to the south, and the foothills of the Smoky Mountains
to the north. Climate is moderate---except for the humidity,
but we won't talk about that now! The people are friendly---as
long as you understand a few basic rules---DO NOT come South
to criticize!
Hospitality and politeness are a way of life in the
South---we wouldn't dream of visiting ya'll, and telling you
all we saw we really didn't care for---so ya'll be polite, and
do the same! We don't claim to be perfect---but when it gets
this close, it's not half bad! So, enjoy your visit---but
remember---the definition of a "damn yankee" is one
that doesn't go home! |
